At a glance

In this training you will learn about the role, responsibilities and characteristics of the SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). Agile requirements, backlog management and features will be discussed. 

You will learn how to write epics, features and user stories, cut them to the right size and communicate them efficiently and transparently in an interdisciplinary team. 

Another focus is on stakeholder management and communities of practice.

Examination

The training concludes with an examination in which the participants can demonstrate the knowledge they have acquired. Successful graduates receive the certificate "Certified SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)"which demonstrates their expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework.

Prerequisites

There are no formal admission criteria for this course. 

Experience in agile procedures or an existing certification as Scrum Master, Product Owner or similar is an advantage.

Didactics & Methodology

This training is predominantly interactive. Based on short impulse phases, numerous practical exercises are carried out individually and in small groups and then discussed together.
