General Terms and Conditions

1. scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions for the execution of open training courses and In-house training courses are binding for contracts with Obvious Works GmbH.

• The booking only becomes binding once Obvious Works has confirmed the registration in writing.
• Confirmation of registration does not constitute a legal entitlement to the training course.

• The course fee must be paid before the course begins.
• Payment options: Debit card, credit card, PayPal, invoice to private or company address.
• Early bird discount: 15% (Early Bird) until at least 4 weeks before the start of the course.
• All prices quoted are net prices and do not include statutory VAT.

• For classroom training, the price includes course materials, refreshments during breaks, lunch and drinks.
• For online training courses, the price includes the course materials and a voucher from Uber Eats of CHF 20 per training day for lunch.
• Issue of a certificate of participation.
• Further advantages depending on the training.
• Certification fee, coaching and others as specified.

Our Guarantee

• Satisfaction: We guarantee that you will be excellently prepared and have fun. However, if you are not satisfied, we will refund your money.
• Online Refresher: Within the first year after participation, you have the right to take part in an online version of the course again free of charge.
• Extra chance during the test: For certification courses, Obvious Works will cover the cost of a second certification attempt within the first year if the first attempt is unsuccessful.

• Cancellation free of charge up to 7 days before the course.
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the course: fee of 30% of the course fee.
• In case of non-participation: full course fee due.
• Possibility of providing a substitute participant.

• Obvious Works reserves the right to cancel events in the event of force majeure or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
• Cancellations can also be made at short notice in exceptional cases.

• The right to use the training documents provided is granted.
• Reproduction of the training documents is prohibited.

Never Go Alone

• As a participant in our courses, we offer you and your course friends a voucher of Digitec Galaxus or Amazon.
• The amount of the voucher depends on the recommended course and can be found in the course description.
• Further information on redeeming the voucher and the terms and conditions can be obtained when you register for the course or on request.

• The terms and conditions shall remain binding in their remaining parts even if individual parts are legally invalid.
• If individual provisions are ineffective, the economically closest provision shall apply in a legally effective manner.
• Amendments or additions to the contract must be made in text form.

• Swiss law shall apply.
• The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Obvious Works GmbH.
